Community Outreach

Manna House

Allenhurst Presbyterian Church supports the Liberty County Manna House, a local food and clothing bank that was established in 1992. They serve over a thousand households a year, providing emergency groceries at no cost to low income families, low income seniors, the recently unemployed, and others who may have urgent need for food. Manna House also provides a meal for anyone who needs it Monday through Friday.

Funded solely through donations from churches, civic organizations, businesses and the United Way of Coastal Georgia, their mission is to feed those who are hungry and clothe those in need of clothes. To treat those in need with dignity and respect, and to serve in excellence and enthusiasm. Allenhurst Presbyterian Church joins the Manna House in its vision to prevail against poverty and the poverty mentality, to help stamp out hunger, nakedness, and indifference to those in need. To be an agent of change in Liberty County, by helping provide a common platform for the Christian and the Civic elements of our community, and to work together in assisting the needy of our county.

If you would like to help, please contact the church or Manna House directly at maanahouse@coastalnow.net.
